Camp Bisco 2012 Poster Design Contest

Camp Bisco is a long running electronic/rock music festival happening in July 2012. Design an original art post for the festival using this year;s suggested theme for your poster art which is Machines. They are looking for original art and so are asking that you don't don't try to create a brand or advertisement for the festival, avoiding literal, stereotypical interpretations and imagery such as tents, electricity, lights, etc.. It is required that you include the text: "Camp Bisco", "2012", "July 12-14, 2012", "Mariaville, New York (or NY)" and "www.campbisco.net" in your poster design, but optional on whether you include the official Camp Bisco 2012 logo and festival lineup. Your completed festival poster should be submitted to Creative Allies in a 16" x 20" size with a minimum resolution of 200 dpi in .JPG, .JPEG, .TIF, .TIFF, .EPS formats.
The winning poster designer as chosen by Camp Bisco will receive $500, and 2 VIP tickets to the festival. There are also prizes of $100 credit for the Creative Allie's store for the editor's favorite and fan favorite plus the chance to earn royalties from your art designs.
Rules:Do not submit copyrighted work. Do not use stock images or clip art. There is no maximum number of entries per design contest or per entrant.

Floyd Mayweather - Shoe Pattern Design Contest

Boxing champion Floyd Mayweather is collaborating with MYMAG to give an insight into his lifestyle and to celebrate Floyd Mayweather is looking for a creative pattern or color scheme design for a shoe.to be worn by the man himself. Submit your design to Talenthouse in JPEG or PNG format using the form under the participate tab on the design contest page.
The grand prize winner as selected by Floyd Mayweather will have their design created on a pair of shoes to be worn by Floyd Mayweather and the winner will receive $3,000, a copy of MYMAG signed by Floyd Mayweather, a signed pair of the winning shoes, exposure on Floyd Mayweather’s social media channels and a lifetime subscription to MYMAG. A runner up and the highest voted design will each win exposure for their submission on MYMAG’s Facebook page, a lifetime subscription to MYMAG and $500.
Rules:Open to entrants who are 18 years or older at time of entry. Must be entrants own work. 1 entry per person. By entering the contest, entrants irrevocably grant sponsor to use the work and copyrights therein, in any way and in any and all media.

2012 Adobe Design Achievement Awards (Students Only)

The Adobe® Design Achievement Awards showcases individual and group projects created with Adobe creative software. You can now enter your original artwork created since 1st May 2011 to one of the 16 categories. The work must be created primarily (50% or more) with the Adobe tools designated in each category. The categories are: Interactive Media: Browser-Based Design, Non-Browser Based Design, Application Development, Mobile Design, Game Design, Installation Design, Innovation in Interactive Media in Education.
Video and Motion: Animation, Live Action, Motion Graphics, Innovation in Video and Motion in Education.
Traditional Media: Illustration, Packaging, Photography, Print Communications, Innovation in Traditional Media in Education.
The Individual Student category winners receive $3,000 USD cash, a winner's certificate, a 3D award an Adobe® Creative Suite® 5.5 Master Collection license, complimentary round-trip economy class airfare to Los Angeles during 2012 Adobe MAX and two nights' accommodation in lodgings, a one-year mentorship with a design leader and an appointment to an Icograda Youth Advisory Panel. Rules:Open only to all individuals age 18 years or older who are students, or faculty in an accredited institution of higher education. Not open to any resident of the following countries: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria.
