2012 Adobe Design Achievement Awards (Students Only)

The Adobe® Design Achievement Awards showcases individual and group projects created with Adobe creative software. You can now enter your original artwork created since 1st May 2011 to one of the 16 categories. The work must be created primarily (50% or more) with the Adobe tools designated in each category. The categories are: Interactive Media: Browser-Based Design, Non-Browser Based Design, Application Development, Mobile Design, Game Design, Installation Design, Innovation in Interactive Media in Education.
Video and Motion: Animation, Live Action, Motion Graphics, Innovation in Video and Motion in Education.
Traditional Media: Illustration, Packaging, Photography, Print Communications, Innovation in Traditional Media in Education.
The Individual Student category winners receive $3,000 USD cash, a winner's certificate, a 3D award an Adobe® Creative Suite® 5.5 Master Collection license, complimentary round-trip economy class airfare to Los Angeles during 2012 Adobe MAX and two nights' accommodation in lodgings, a one-year mentorship with a design leader and an appointment to an Icograda Youth Advisory Panel. Rules:Open only to all individuals age 18 years or older who are students, or faculty in an accredited institution of higher education. Not open to any resident of the following countries: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria.

Colored Pencil Magazine's 2012 Art Competition

COLORED PENCIL magazine is looking for artwork for their 2013 calendar and you can enter your images now on their website. Artwork should be at least 80% colored pencil, cropped to a Landscape format and submitted as a JPEG file at 72 ppi (in RGB color mode, do not convert to CMYK).
Prize:
12 images will be chosen to appear in the 2013 COLORED PENCIL Magazine Calendar alongside a short bio of the artist as well as appearing on the COLORED PENCIL website and in the printed magazine. The best image will win a complete set of 150 Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils, 6 month subscription to ArtLogic Online Art School at BrushandPencil.com, 1 Year Print Subscription to COLORED PENCIL Magazine, Artwork displayed on the Cover of the 2013 COLORED PENCIL Magazine’s Calendar, calendar, certificate, and 2 Stonehenge Pads. There are also prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 8 honorable mentions.
Entry fee $10.00 for each image or 3 images for $25.00. Entries per artist are not limited. All artwork must be original and drawn from original reference material. Entrants must be 18 years or older to enter. By entering the COLORED PENCIL Magazine 2012 Art Competition, you hereby grant COLORED PENCIL Magazine and Platte Productions a non-exclusive, worldwide license and right to utilize the entry submitted.

SAVE THE FROGS! Art Contest 2012

Save The Frogs! is an American public charity dedicated to the conservation of amphibians. They run a yearly Save The Frogs! art contests in which artwork containing frogs, toads, salamander, newts or caecilians. They accept both hand drawn or digitally producer artwork in full-color or black & white or you can even enter a logo. This art contest is split up into age categories which are: under 10s, 10 to 13, 14 to 17 and 18+. Your artwork must included the phrase SAVE THE FROGS!, savethefrogs.com or both
The grand prize winner will receive $100 cash or check, $50 worth of "frog cash" to be used for merchandise from the Save The Frogs! gift center, become an official judge of next years Save The Frogs! art contest, receive a Critter Skimmer (US and Canadian residents only) and their winning artwork placed at the top of the Save the Frogs! art contest page (until next years art contest winner is announced). Category winners receive $35 cash or check and $30 worth of "frog cash". All winners may all see their artwork featured on products in the Save The Frogs! gift center.
Rules:Submitted artwork must be your original creation. No tracing of others' artwork. You may submit up to three entries per person. All entries become the property of the contest sponsor and will not be returned.
