The All-American Rejects Poster Design Contest

Info:

The All-American Rejects have a new album called "Kids in the Street" and over at Creative Allies they want you to be inspired to create a poster that captures a moment in your life. Be a kid on the street, but avoid literal depictions of children in streets. "Illustrate something beautiful that depicts a moment that is special to you." Completed entries should be a 16" x 20" poster, have a minimum resolution of 200 dpi and less than 60MB in file size. The following video is given to inspire your design.

Prize:

The grand prize winner will receive receive $500 and an All-American Rejects prize pack. The editors' and fan favorite will each win $100. There is also the chance to earn royalties.

Rules:

You must be able to prove ownership of any photographic elements. There is no maximum number of entries per design contest or per entrant. Contest is open worldwide. It is not required to use the band's logo

Sigur Rós: Light Sensitive Paper Art Contest

Info:

If you buy the limited edition of Sigur Rós - "inni", inside you will find some light sensitive paper. Using this paper and the instructions , create a design and upload it to the Sigur Rós site in JPEG, PNG or GIF format.

Prize:

The winning artist will have their design used in a piece of Sigur Rós 2012 merchandise as well as a 100,000 icelandic krónur (approx. £500/$800)

Kwanza Jones T-Shirt Design Contest

Kwanza Jones needs a T-shirt design for her latest single "Time To Go". The design is completely open to your interpretation but it must have the name "Kwanza Jones" and "Time To Go" on. The T-shirt can use text or images but you have to keep in mind that the design is going to be screen printed with no more than 2 colors. Completed entries should be uploaded to Talenthouse in JPEG or PNG format.

Prize:

The winning design chosen by Kwanza Jones and Innovation Entertainment will win $300, a Think Again T-shirt, autographed 1 GB Limited Edition Kwanza Jones USB Drive pre-loaded with the "Time To Go" Single, remixes and video (the remixes are from a recent remix contest. Also the top two highest voted T-shirt designs will each receive $100 and the autographed 1 GB USB Drive.

Mastodon - The Hunter Design Contest

Info:

Heavy metal band Mastodon released a new album called 'The Hunter' in 2011 and in celebration want you to submit a design inspired by 'Dry Bone Valley'. All submissions must be original and submitted in JPEG or PNG format to the Talenthouse website.

Prize:

One winner will have their design displayed on on Mastodon's official website and as the band's official Facebook profile picture for one month and the winner will receive $1,000. One runner-up will have their submission featured in a gallery on Mastodon's Facebook page and will receive $500. The highest voted artist will also have their submission featured in a gallery on Mastodon's Facebook page and receive $500.

Rules:

Open only to individuals who have reached the age of majority in their respective jurisdiction. Not open to residents of Florida, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Puerto Rico, the Province of Quebec, Sudan, or Syria. The selected finalist shall grant ownership of all rights in and to the intellectual property in the winning submission to Mastodon.

The Mass Chaos Tour Poster Contest

Heavy alternative rock bands Godsmack, Staind and Halestorm are co-headlining the Mass Chaos Tour this Spring and are on the lookout for an official tour poster. Your poster must have the Godsmack, Staind, and Halestorm names represented at the same size in your design and include the tour name "Mass Chaos Tour". Creative Allies have provided you with the logos for each band included in the support files (but are not required for use in your design). Completed entries should be 16" x 20" and have a minimum resolution of 200 dpi.

Prize:

The overall winner will receive $500, a prize pack and 2 tickets to a show. There are also prizes of $100 credit for the Creative Allie's store for the editor's favorite and fan favorite plus the chance to earn royalties.

Heineken Black History Month Art Contest

Heineken are looking for original artwork that celebrates Black History Month. To enter you have to upload a PNG, JPG, or GIF image file of your original artwork. Completed entries can be submitted by clicking 'Like' on the Heineken Facebook page and then an Enter button will appear.

Prize:

The grand prize winner will receive a $5,000 commission and their winning artwork will be featured in the Black History Month 2013 advertising campaign.

Rules:

Open only to legal residents of the U.S who are aged 21 and over. California residents are not eligible for the $5,000 prize due to legal contraints. Limit of one entry per person.

Doodle 4 Google 2012

Info:

U.S. students are invited to create a Google Doodle for this years theme which is "If I could travel in time, I'd visit..." The doodle can be designed in pencil, pen, paint or computer drawing software. The Google logo needs to be in the design. Completed entries need to be submitted with an entry form which can be found at the top of this page.

Prize:

The national winning doodle will be featured on the U.S. Google.com homepage with the winner being awarded a $30,000 college scholarship to be used at the school of his or her choice, a trip to New York for an event on May 17, 2012, a Google Chromebook computer, a Wacom digital design tablet, and a t-shirt printed with his or her doodle on it. The winner's full time school will also win a $50,000 technology grant towards the establishment or improvement of a computer lab or technology programming. There are also prizes for 4 National finalists and the winner from each of the 50 states.

Rules:

Open to all K-12 students in U.S. schools (including homeschoolers). Only one doodle can be submitted per child.

The Avengers Tee Design Contest

Info:

Design a Tee for The Avengers to enter. Your design should include all 4 characters (Captain America, Thor, Hulk, and Iron Man) but may also include Hawkeye, Black Widow or Loki. There is a submissions kit containing PSD photoshop files which you can download from the art contest page. Completed entries should be uploaded to WeLoveFine shop in either JPG, GIF or PNG format.

Prize:

There is a grand prize of $1,000 which could go up to as high as $2,500 depending on the number of votes that entries receive in the contest. The guest judges will each select their personal favorite design, and those artists will win $400 cash. There will be 2 runners up each receiving a $150 gift certificate for WeLoveFine.com and 5 honorable mentions will receive a $50 gift certificate. All winning designs will be put into consideration for printing and all winning artists will be put into consideration to be part of League of Mighty Fine Artists (”LMFA”).

Rules:

Entrants must be 18 years or older and a legal residents of the United States or Washington D.C. You may submit up to 5 entries per person. Classic Avengers logo and movie Avengers logo cannot be utilized in the design.
